1. Overview

The FlexScan EV2485 (hereinafter referred to as EV2485) to be released this time is a highly convenient product for business users who use notebook PCs. With the diversification of work styles, such as teleworking and the introduction of free addresses in offices, the shift from desktop PCs to portable laptops is accelerating. However, because the information that can be displayed on the small screen of a notebook PC is limited, work efficiency may decrease when viewing multiple materials at the same time.

The EV2485 achieves WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution in a 24.1-inch size that fits an A4 spread. Compared to a general full HD resolution monitor, it is 120 pixels wider vertically, so you can improve work efficiency when creating and viewing business documents. In addition, it is equipped with a USB Type-C input terminal, and you can perform everything from power supply to a notebook PC to transmission of video, audio, and USB signals simply by connecting with a single USB Type-C cable. As a result, even when using it as an external monitor for a notebook PC, it is convenient because the number of cables to connect and disconnect is reduced.

In addition, it follows the high basic performance of the business monitor FlexScan series, and is equipped with eye-friendly functions such as complete flicker reduction and blue light reduction of about 80%. In addition, we consider the environment by using recycled materials not only for products but also for packaging materials.

2. Main Features

Equipped with USB Type-C, it is possible to connect and supply power to a notebook PC with a single cable.

By connecting a laptop to a USB Type-C cable, you can supply 70W power to the laptop, display video, play audio, and transmit USB signals. When you go to a free-address office and start desk work, or when you start working from home, you can immediately and comfortably start working on your PC simply by connecting a single cable from your laptop.

■WUXGA support improves work efficiency

Equipped with a 24.1-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution IPS panel. For example, when using a 14-inch laptop, connecting a monitor and using it on two screens will expand the screen size by about three times compared to using the laptop alone. You can work more efficiently with fewer window switching operations.

In addition, WUXGA is 120 pixels wider vertically than full HD (1920 x 1080), for example, the number of rows that can be displayed in Excel increases by about 15%, and A4 vertical size materials can be displayed on the screen. The work efficiency at the time of creating and viewing business documents will be further improved.
