Set the DMZ by specifying the IP address of the PS5 fixed to the Wi-Fi router

Set up a DMZ only when remote play or online competition isn't working well on the go

In [Static NAT Settings] in [Detailed Settings], check [Simple DMZ Function] in [One Touch Settings] and enter the PS5 fixed IP address. An example of the Buffalo "WSR-3200AX4S" that can be set by clicking the [Set] button directly below to display the completion dialog. Select [Router Mode Security] in [Detailed Settings] and display [DMZ]. Enter the fixed IP address of PS5 and press the [Set] button to enable it. An example of ASUS "RT-AC67U" that can be set by leaving the address blank when you want to turn it off. There is a [DMZ] tab in [WAN] of [Detailed Settings]. An example of TP-Link "Archer AX4800" that allows you to enter the IP address field by selecting [Yes] in [Enable DMZ]. Select [DMZ] in [NAT Transfer] in [Detailed Settings]. Check [Enable], enter the PS5's fixed IP address, and select the [Save] button.
