Alpine, car audio that can operate smartphone apps on a large screen


DAF11Z

Alps Alpine will release two models of display audio "Floating Big DA" compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto from late December. Each price is an open price. The lineup and expected store price are around 100,000 yen for the 11-inch "DAF11Z" and around 90,000 yen for the 9-inch "DAF9Z." In the spring of 2022, the 7-inch "DA7Z" (around 60,000 yen) will also be released.

Car audio that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and can play music from smartphone apps, map and route guidance, send and receive messages, etc. on a large screen. Apple CarPlay can be connected wirelessly. Android Auto has a USB connection.

Alpine, operating smartphone app on big screen

Inheriting the high-quality sound of the Big X series, it adopts proprietary high-quality audio parts and circuit design. In addition to high-quality sound that supports high resolution, it is equipped with the graphical user interface "Sound Home".

Sound Home features a Bass Engine SQ that allows you to adjust the level of the bass range with five types, a parametric equalizer that allows fine adjustment for each frequency, and a time correction that creates the optimal sound field by changing the arrival time of the sound. You can adjust the sound using functions such as

WXGA liquid crystal is used for the display common to all three models. It is said that the video can be played back beautifully, and the map application can be displayed in an easy-to-read manner. The 11-inch and 9-inch adopt a floating structure that can be installed on a wide range of vehicles. Type 7 can be attached to 2DIN size.

Equipped with HDMI input, mirroring is also possible when connected to a smartphone. It also has an HDMI output, so you can enjoy outputting video to the rear seat monitor. Equipped with 4V pre-out for amplifier connection, camera input, 2 USB terminals (1 for charging), and analog input, it can be linked with optional system upgrade products. In addition, it also has GPS and FM/AM tuner.

Bluetooth 4.2 compliant, profiles support HFP/OPP/PBAP/SPP/A2DP/AVRCP. Wi-Fi supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n.

The output is 50W x 4. Maximum current consumption is 15A. The weight is 2.6kg for DAF11Z, 2.3kg for DAF9Z and 1.4kg for DA7Z.
