The following expansions and changes are planned for the 2022 IT introduction subsidy.

It seems that the aim is to promote the digitization of business-to-business transactions toward the start of the invoice system scheduled for October 2023. 1) Expansion for invoice support

The IT introduction subsidy 2022 targets "accounting software", "ordering software", "payment software", and "EC software" among IT tools including SaaS. In addition, the subsidy rate will be increased from 1/2 to 3/4 or 2/3.

Up to two years' worth of cloud usage fees subsidized

Partly due to the impact of the new coronavirus, cloud services have become widely used.

For this reason, the 2022 IT introduction subsidy covers up to two years' worth of cloud service usage fees. As examples of eligible expenses, "monthly and annual service usage fees" and "system maintenance costs" are being considered.

Hardware purchase costs are also subsidized

This is a support measure for unifying regions and industries for DX. Target organizations for subsidies are assumed to be associations of shopping districts, chambers of commerce, and business cooperatives.

The expenses to be subsidized are the same IT tools and various hardware as the digitization infrastructure introduction type described above.

In addition, the following items have been added as "consumption trend analysis expenses". The maximum subsidy amount is "500,000 yen x the number of participating businesses" and the subsidy rate is 2/3.

This amount is 10% of the total amount of infrastructure introduction cost and consumption trend analysis cost, and the subsidy rate is 2/3. The total amount of infrastructure installation costs and consumption trend analysis costs is capped at 30 million yen.
